I think the mini eames chair would go better somewhere other than as a centerpiece but I love everything else. (Still like the mini eames chair though).

Totally digging the wallpaper in this bathroom. Makes a nice neutral for accent colors.

Orla Kiely radio/mp3 player. I rarely use them but I can’t help wanting this. Would look cute at the office.

Apparently I was wrong. They didn’t make The Shire into hotel. Instead they became housing for local sheep. Pity. I’ve never wanted to be a sheep more. If I ever become rich don’t let me forget to complete my childhood dream to build myself a hobbit-hole to live in.

If I had my choice I’d live in a hobbit-hole. Unfortunately, houses built into hills aren’t that common and would probably cost outrageous amounts to build. Shame really. I hear that they made The Shire from LotR into a hotel. If thats true I need to stay there someday.
Anyways, thats what this door reminds me of. Or rather the window. I would love this on my future home. The one I have no money to buy

Saw and met Emily Henderson, last seasons HGTV Design Star winner and host of the show Secrets from a Stylist while perusing the Long Beach Antique Market this morning. Rather bizarre for me. Heard a voice from behind me and thought “I know that voice”. Figured out who I thought it was, turned around and across the row there she was.
Unfortunately, she was moving away so I completely stalked her across 2 rows before I could position myself in a way that I could turn around and be like “Oh! Well look who it is. I wasn’t following you or anything…” I finally introduced myself and told her I was a fan and that I follow her show, blog and twitter (because I am that much of a geek). She was super nice. Very down to earth. I figured she would say hello and thanks and then move on shopping but she actually stood there and talked to me for a minute before moving on. Apparently I had just missed Casey (a fellow contestant of Design Star) not a minute earlier. I think I actually saw Casey when I was stalking Emily but I just didn’t realize it because I only saw her back.
My first LA celebrity sighting. And an HGTV one at that. How exciting :)
Also: Was so excited about meeting her I totally missed that awesome mirror that is behind her head in the photo. I wish I had seen it and asked how much they wanted for it. :\

Must have! Must! Must! Must!
Oh if I only wasn’t spending money because of the move. I neeeeeed this. This whole etsy shop is incredible. There are like 3 other prints that I really want. Ohhhh. I am so drooling right now. The second I get that first (or to be honest the second) paycheck I am buying this. God I want it.
There is actually only one of these available in the color I want. Kind of tempted not to leave a click-through.

A very lovely entryway. I hope to one day have an apartment with a big enough entry to do something like this.

Really loving those mirrors, and the color on that wall too now that I think about it.
